.It is an honor and pleasure to be here tonight with you to discuss a little bit on immigration and creativity. I specially would like to thank to Friedrich Naumann Stiftung for their kind invitation.

.I will try to shed some light on immigration and creativity issues from my personal perspective.

.Immigration has always been there for the vast pieces of world geography. Most nations at one point of their history either accepted migrants or parts of them became as such. It happened, among other reasons, due to hunger, in search for jobs, freedom, to escape wars, oppression and diseases.

.In today’s world these reasons are unfortunately still valid.
